► About Me
Hoi! I'm Sanne. Ten years ago, after finishing my English Language and Culture MA, I moved from the Netherlands to London where I'm currently working as a Social Media freelancer and Event Host in Publishing. I've documented my journey in publishing, my life in London and of course my favourite book recommendations (which include anything Gothic, classic and historical with a dash of sci-fi). Besides reading, I now spend a lot of my time discovering literary locations around the UK, sketching outdoors and trying out new crafts. If you're looking for creative and literary inspiration, you're in the right place!
► My Book Club Journal
bit.ly/BookClubJournal (ad, affiliate link)

Featuring: thick paper (great for fountain pens!) and bookmark ribbon, 50 book journal templates to fill in, 200 book recommendations in 20 themed reading lists and chapters with tips and advice for starting your book club.

So nostalgic and relatable what you're saying about creativity! I followed your channel for yearsss. Your enthousiasm has always been contageous, I studied English Language & Culture at the RUG for 1.5 years and I must admit that you were one of the positive reasons why. Eventually I changed studies like 4 times and graduated from Media Studies but studying English is one of my fondest uni memories. Looking forward to the content you post 😊

I also currently live in Hertfordshire, and if you're looking for nice walks in the countryside I will recommend the Lea Valley walk which runs all the way down into East London. The part that runs along the canal and the railway from Hertford to Cheshunt is quite pretty. Not many bookshops on the way, but there is The Book Nook in Ware, which is very cute!

As someone who doesn't speak a single Dutch word, that accent sounds like an English person attempting to pronounce a foreign language. And unless that's exactly what's happening here, it's surprisingly similar to English. Edit: Okay I just turned the captions on, and seeing you talk about the intonation, it seems my suspicions where likely correct 😅
